OMR Festival 2025: WWP Group Connects People, Brands, and Markets

At this year’s OMR Festival, the WWP Group once again proved to be a perfect match for driving innovation, fostering inspiration, and forging strong partnerships.

The festival kicked off with the exclusive OMR Sports Dinner at Bullerei — an evening filled with engaging conversations, top-tier guests such as Boris Becker, and fresh perspectives on the future of sport and the digital economy. In collaboration with OMR, Transform Sports, FC Bayern Munich, and Bitpanda, we welcomed around 250 key industry decision-makers. The evening underscored one thing: the future of sports marketing is being shaped right here, where creativity, technology, and genuine passion intersect.

The following day was just as dynamic — and even more focused on sport: during Gerard Piqué’s keynote on the Main Stage, WWP Co-CEO Robert Schmidle was a prominent guest at the bar, right in the middle of the action and the conversations. Many WWP team members were also there to soak up new ideas, expand their knowledge, and build valuable connections.

Beyond our presence at the festival, WWP also made its mark in the content space. In a recent OMR article, Co-CEO Robert Schmidle shares his insights on how sports sponsorship can help scale-ups grow their brands, enter new markets, and unlock exit potential.

“Sponsorship in sports can build awareness faster and more effectively than almost any other discipline. It’s a powerful way to emotionally charge brands and truly set them apart from the competition,”

Schmidle explains. Read the full OMR article here.

A huge thank you to all our partners, our team, and our guests — we’re already looking forward to the next OMR Festival!
