Austrian Airlines Takes Off in Kitzbühel: New Premium Partner of the Hahnenkamm Races

Austrian Airlines has entered into a multi-year partnership with the legendary Hahnenkamm Races in Kitzbühel. This collaboration will help shape one of the most iconic events on the alpine skiing calendar and in international winter sports for years to come.

Starting in 2024, Austrian Airlines will join the Hahnenkamm Races for the first time as a premium partner, proudly showcasing Austrian tradition and hospitality on the world stage. With a history spanning more than 93 years, the Hahnenkamm Races are deeply rooted in Austrian culture and followed by fans across the globe. This partnership strengthens the bond between Kitzbühel, Austria, and the international skiing community.

The Hahnenkamm Races are a marquee event in international winter sports and a must-see for alpine skiing fans worldwide. In 2024, the event will take place from 19 to 21 January.

To mark the occasion, and in line with Austrian Airlines’ brand identity, a dedicated event slogan was created: “Strap in. Take off.” – a symbolic nod to the lift-off moment of each race run. The Austrian Airlines logo will appear prominently along the racecourse, including on the LED start house for slalom, the Gschöss bridge section, and the legendary Seidlalm. A standout visual highlight will be the Austrian Airlines hot air balloon in the finish area.
